We offer kieselguhr candle filters that ensure high quality filtrate and reliable filtration. We have more than 50 years of experience in the production of filtration equipment! As a result, we are considered to be one of the best suppliers of specialized filtration technology for brewing, not only at home but also abroad.

Next-generation filter candles increase the quality and reliability of the filtration, reduce the complexity of the operation of the equipment and increase the economy of operation by reducing the doses of filtration agents.

By adhering to all of the recommended input parameters of the beer, we can guarantee an average of five yeast cells per 100 ml of filtered beer.

Benefits:

  • High capacity performance of the cycle and filtration efficiency
  • Unbeatably low operating costs
  • Ensures constant flow through the filter
  • Long shelf-life
  • Easy cleaning and maintenance
  • The candles have a solid construction, which prevents vibrations from disturbing the filtration.

How kieselguhr filtration work?

These days, kieselguhr filtration is considered a classic method not only for the filtration of beer, but also for the filtration of wine and other beverages and liquids.

It is widely used in the food industry. It is used not only in brewing but also in winemaking, the production of fruit juices and concentrates, as well as for cleaning salt baths and in other areas.

Next-generation vertical filter candles are produced using technologies for the precision winding and welding of stainless-steel wire to a solid framework. These candles act as carriers for gradual filtration using filtration agents (kieselguhr, perlite, cellulose, or their mixtures) that are dosed into the filtered beer, trapped on these candles and, together with the sludge particles, form a filter cake that captures almost all of the beer yeast but even other particles that may be detrimental to the beer.

An indisputable advantage of kieselguhr filtration is the ability to keep the surface of the filter cake relatively permeable, which is important for increasing the capacity of the filtration cycle.
